Jumping the Hurdle
He read the e-mail.
Slowly, one by one, all of the pessimistic clouds in his mind drifted away.
Severe disagreements were minor, if existant at all. There was overall open-mindedness. He was understood and generally agreed with. There were problems but no doubts:
It would happen.
He breathed a giant sigh of relief.
